This icon is a high quality reproduction of the St. Panteleimon icon that adorns the monastery chapel’s iconostasis, featuring the central image of the saint. This version is mounted on a specially crafted board that has a recessed central area, known in Russian as a “kovcheg.” The original icon was painted in Russia by iconographer Natalia Popel.
