Velvety, soft, and full of flavor, Hermitage Pound Cakes make an excellent addition to any festive occasion. They’re made right here in our monastery bakery, using a time-tested, traditional recipe, with fresh European-style butter and top-quality flour from Weisenberger Mill, a Kentucky family-owned business since 1865.
Six flavors are available throughout the year:
Year-round
- Frosted Lemon—Tart, sweet, and covered with a zesty lemon glaze.
- Bourbon—Real Kentucky bourbon and brown sugar are baked right into this delicious cake. Soaked in a bourbon glaze and topped with a bourbon frosting for intense flavor.
- Caramel—Our classic pound cake recipe made with rich brown sugar, topped with delectable caramel frosting.
Fall/Winter
- Cranberry Orange—A perfect holiday blend of tangy orange zest, tart cranberries, and crunchy pecans.
- Chocolate—Rich notes of cocoa and espresso meld together for an intense chocolate flavor. Chocolate buttercream frosting tops it all off.
Summer
- Blueberry—Succulent blueberries add a burst of flavor to our silky-smooth pound cake.

Our warehouse staff will package every item to our exacting requirements. Before shipping the goods are thoroughly inspected and secured. Orders that include more than one item are given processing time in accordance with the item.
Prior to shipping, we inspect the ordered items carefully before shipping. The majority of orders are delivered within 48 hours. The delivery time is estimated to be between 3 and seven days.
Returns
Due to the multiple parties involved which include the factory as well as the warehouse, we're unable to fully manage stock. The actual stock can fluctuate at any time. It's possible that your order will be unable to fill after you place the order.
Our policy is for 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase however, we're unable to give an exchange or refund.
The item must not be used and in its original condition. It must also be in its original packaging.
